About the Founder
My story begins in Jharkhand, where I grew up surrounded by both the beauty of nature and the realities of change. I witnessed the shift from plates made of leaves to disposable plastic cutlery, from single-lane village roads to four-lane highways, and from dense forests to landscapes slowly losing their green cover.
These experiences taught me that while development is necessary, it should never come at the cost of our environment.
A deeply transformative moment came during my visit to Katra, Vaishno Devi. Seeing piles of plastic bags scattered across riverbanks and mountain paths changed the way I looked at consumption.
The deepest inspiration behind LECOG comes from my late mother, Lalita. LECOG was born in her memory — not just as a company, but as a tribute to her values.
LECOG is personal. It is purpose-driven. And it is only the beginning.
